How long have we been around?
Single mother motivated to learn about printing
Select Graphics and Printing was founded in 1987 by two Vietnamese refugees in search of the American dream. Although one partner had printing experience, he was unable to deal with the struggles of a startup company, and Kim Le quickly took full ownership after.
As a single mother and female entrepreneur in her early 20's, Kim was determined to grow the business to give her children a better future. For years, Kim woke up at 6am to sell flyers at early realtor meetings and came home at 10pm after visiting customers and delivering print jobs.
Though Kim did not have the printing experience as her past business partner, she researched, networked, and asked questions to become a resourceful printing consultant for her customers. Printing gave her customers the means to improve the marketability and credibility of their businesses, and as they grew, Select Graphics and Printing also grew.
Knowing the complexity of printing and graphic design firsthand, Kim was and still is extremely friendly, helpful, and responsive to her customers. Modeling after her helpful attitude, her company thrives and prospers on these principles of great customer service today, continuously learning and growing.
